Made from a plant-based material called Ecodear, the Yamaha YRA-402B alto recorder still retains classic, warm tone and authentic sound that comes as close as it gets to the response of a wooden recorder. Like most models finished with baroque fingering, this model comes tuned in F and feature double boring.
The Yamaha YRA-402B
While the Yamaha YRA-402B and Yamaha YRA-48B recorders are extremely similar, there is a big difference between the two since, for some extra charm, the YRA-402B model has been accurately based on the renowned Rottenburgh recorders that were produced during the 1700s.

Bel instrument qui se révèle vite lourd à manipuler. Compliqué notamment d'obtenir un son net via sa partie inférieure (grave).
La flûte se bouche vite et il n'est pas simple de contrer ce problème.
Dommage. Cela reste une flûte de confection extrêmement soignée.
Deze Yamaha blokfluit is een fijn instrument. De fluit voelt prettig aan en is zuiver. De klank is mooi al geeft het niet het zelfde effect als een houten fluit en is er minder mogelijk, minder spelen met kleur. Daarentegen kan ik dit instrument makkelijk zonder zorgen meenemen, us makkelijk te reiningen en kan meer tegen een stootje. Ik ben er blij mee

Very responsive instrument throughout the whole range. Nice, dark reedy sound in bottom register, top register precise, clean if slightly softer sound. Less responsive obviously than it's more expensive wooden counterpart, but goes a long way nevertheless. Very pleased with my purchase.
